what hike is complete without a smooch?	a fallen redwood on the return portion of the 2hr 15min hike	this fallen redwood spanned the stream below

one end of the jack london pond was deep in this brush audio: [ra]	closeup of the brush which was probably 10 feet tall in places. red wing blackbirds hung out in here, flying out and showing a red flash of their wings upon takeoff	the pond water looked sort of like miso soup when mixed up
